This morning, TreeENT Health was officially awarded certification by the international authoritative accreditation body DNV GL, becoming the first medical institution in China to simultaneously receive DNV-GL standard certification for both its outpatient clinic and ambulatory surgery center.

Former Deputy Inspector of Hangzhou Development and Reform Commission Xu Dongmin

"Making healthcare 'safe, efficient, and compassionate' has been the philosophy upheld by TreeENT Health since its establishment," said Xu Jinghuan, CEO of TreeENT Health. "Since our Hangzhou branch settled in China's first Medical Mall in 2017, our medical services have evolved from a single ENT specialty to three distinctive sectors: ophthalmology & ENT, international ambulatory surgery centers, and a multidisciplinary shared elite physician platform. Building an international medical platform is a crucial step we've taken. In medical services, we strive to achieve the 'Three Ones' goal: one-minute specialist registration, one-hour consultation and examination, and same-day surgery discharge, maximizing patient convenience while pursuing safety and quality."
In 2019, TreeENT Health aligned with international standards to ensure medical service safety and quality by initiating the DNV GL Healthcare Quality Certification program. After nearly a year of dedicated efforts, both the Hangzhou outpatient clinic and ambulatory surgery center passed the evaluation in February this year, obtaining DNV GL international healthcare quality certification.
DNV GL is a globally renowned professional risk management service organization. DNV GL certification maintains technological leadership advantages, having gained accreditation recognition in over 80 countries worldwide, with more than 65,000 management system certification certificates issued. It was the earliest to enter mainland China and has obtained recognition and filing from China's National Certification and Accreditation Administration.
"The medical industry requires extremely high professional and technical standards. Adopting international standards for medical institution certification is an important method to evaluate medical safety and service quality, while also helping improve service concepts and optimize processes, creating a new paradigm for standardized management in international hospitals. As a benchmark among domestic specialty medical service providers, TreeENT's capabilities in medical safety and risk management are evident," said Wan Lingling, Vice Chairperson of Zhejiang Health Industry Federation and Chairperson of Zhejiang Medical & Health Group Co., Ltd., during her speech.
"TreeENT Health is the only medical institution in Hangzhou besides Sir Run Run Shaw Hospital to receive DNV certification, and the first in China to simultaneously obtain dual certification for both outpatient and ambulatory surgery services," said Xu Dongmin, former Deputy Inspector of Hangzhou Development and Reform Commission. "In recent years, Hangzhou has placed great emphasis on health industry development, issuing implementation opinions and development plans to build a hundred-billion-yuan health industry cluster. TreeENT Health's DNV GL certification represents its persistent pursuit of high-quality, high-standard medical services, improving the construction, management, and operation of private medical systems, which is of great significance for further promoting our city's health industry development."
"Returning to the essence of healthcare, we consistently approach the medical industry with sincerity and rigor," stated Professor Shen Wei, Director of TreeENT Health's Quality Management Center, during a press interview. "Having obtained the Ping An Wanjia Intermediate Certification for Healthcare Safety Management, joined Hangzhou's ENT Specialist Medical Consortium and Zhejiang Pediatric ENT & Head-Neck Disease Diagnosis and Treatment Alliance, we've also pioneered innovative practices in China's specialty ambulatory surgery field. The DNV GL certification marks just the beginning - we will further align with international standards to deliver safer, more precise, and higher-quality medical services under elevated benchmarks."
"TreeENT possesses premium physician resources," Professor Shen explained. "Through our 'Internet+' platform, we enable medical resource sharing to form a complete healthcare service loop. At our physical medical facilities, we've rebuilt processes with rigorous risk controls approaching international service standards." He detailed the comprehensive management systems covering attending physicians, nurses, and anesthesiologists.
During the certification ceremony, TreeENT Health also signed an agreement with WeMedical to establish a "Shared Elite Physician Studio." Recognizing this year's unique circumstances have elevated public health awareness, TreeENT aims to provide convenient access to top-tier physicians through "Internet+" medical services, enabling the public to receive quality consultations anytime, anywhere with complete peace of mind.
