January 12, 2021 – The globally renowned healthcare quality certification body DNV GL conducted a comprehensive re-evaluation of Hangzhou Renshu Medical Clinic, achieving complete success. Due to the pandemic, the assessment was conducted remotely via a global online connection. Dr. Shen Wei, Director of Medical Quality Control and Medical Director of Renshu Medical, led the administrative team in preparing for the review.
The review panel consisted of DNV GL’s International Chief Medical Officer and Lead Auditor, Ms. Cathie Abrahamsen, along with Prof. Primoz Straus (Physical Environment Group) and Prof. Yu Xinyan (Management Group). From an international healthcare quality and safety perspective, they meticulously evaluated the clinic against DNV GL certification standards, covering areas such as medical quality management, safety risk assessment, infection control, physical environment, and surgical services. The panel conducted remote interviews with clinic administrators and paid special attention to the implementation of corrective actions from the initial assessment.
Renshu Medical has consistently adhered to its overarching framework of **"One Core, Three Pillars"—centering on patient-focused quality and safety, supported by physical environment services, clinical management services, and comprehensive quality assurance**. Over the past year, the clinic has optimized multiple management systems and workflows, breaking down knowledge silos to demonstrate tangible improvements to the review team.

She highly commended Renshu’s execution capabilities and standardized management.
This review is not an endpoint but rather a new beginning.
