On December 22, 2020, Renshu Medical was invited to conduct a health screening event at Xixi Weicai Kindergarten. Dr. Shen Wei and Dr. Pi Leiming from Renshu Medical's ENT department led the medical team, bringing advanced examination equipment including high-definition video otoscopes, refractive screening devices and otoacoustic emission testers to perform ear and vision examinations for nearly 160 children.

The event proceeded in an orderly yet lively atmosphere, with children lining up under their teachers' guidance to receive check-ups. Many children showed great curiosity about the medical equipment and eagerly awaited their turn.

The medical team communicated with the children in a friendly manner, asking questions like "How old are you? Can you see this pattern clearly? Do your parents clean your ears for you?" Their gentle approach made the examinations go smoothly and won the children's affection.

One accompanying parent said, "My daughter gets sick frequently and I'm always worried. Normally taking her to the hospital means long waiting times. This free clinic has been very helpful - seeing that she has no major problems puts my mind at ease."

Dr. Pi Leiming explained that Renshu Medical operates on an appointment system with efficient scheduling. This is undoubtedly beneficial for busy parents, allowing sufficient time for doctor-patient communication and thorough examinations, avoiding the frustrating experience of "waiting three hours for a three-minute consultation."。

During the examinations, doctors identified some children with otitis media and myopia issues. Professional health guidance recommendations were included in the examination reports to help parents and teachers better care for the children in daily life.
Dr. Shen Wei noted that the prevalence of otitis media in children can exceed 80%, making it the second most common childhood illness after colds. However, it is often overlooked by parents. He emphasized that pediatric otitis media is frequently triggered by other conditions, such as allergic rhinitis or adenoid hypertrophy, which can impact a child's growth and development. Parents should establish a habit of regular check-ups and seek timely treatment when issues are detected to avoid missing the optimal treatment window.

The event received high praise from the school administration. The principal remarked: "Renshu Medical has brought quality healthcare services to every child, not only ensuring students' health and timely assistance but also creating a healthier learning environment for our kindergarten. We strongly support such socially responsible medical institutions in conducting free clinics to promote children's healthy development together."

For years, Renshu Medical has benefited numerous people through free clinic activities in schools and communities. This health screening has positively contributed to students' future growth, vividly demonstrating Renshu Medical's commitment to "returning to the essence of healthcare" and reflecting its dedication to children's wellbeing. Moving forward, we will continue leveraging our medical resources to expand free clinic services and safeguard children's healthy development.
