On October 16, 2020, the National Tour Lecture Series on "Chinese Guidelines for Allergic Rhinitis Immunotherapy" was grandly held at the Shangri-La Hotel in Shanghai's Pudong district.

As an academic benchmark for allergic rhinitis treatment in China, the conference attracted over 100 ENT specialists, creating a vibrant atmosphere. Distinguished otolaryngologists including Professor Zhang Luo (President of Beijing Tongren Hospital, Capital Medical University), Professor Li Huabin (Eye & ENT Hospital of Fudan University), and Professor Li Yong (Director of ENT at Hangzhou First People's Hospital and Renshu Medical's special consultant) all attended and shared insights. Dr. Chen Guangqiang, Director of Renshu Medical's ENT Department, was also invited to participate in this prestigious event.

Allergic rhinitis, as one of China's major chronic inflammatory respiratory diseases, has seen a rapid increase in prevalence in recent years. As it currently cannot be completely cured, the condition significantly impacts patients' quality of life and socioeconomic status, creating substantial disease burden. It has become a challenging refractory disease in the 21st century that warrants widespread attention. This conference aimed to advance research, diagnosis and treatment standards for allergic rhinitis among medical professionals, enabling more patients to benefit from immunotherapy.

Conference Chair Professor Zhang Luo stated that clinical evidence over years has demonstrated the promising prospects of standardized allergen immunotherapy, with its long-term efficacy being well established. China's immunotherapy technology has reached international standards, particularly during the pandemic when China's prevention and treatment approaches for allergic rhinitis earned praise from global experts. However, currently only 5% of patients nationwide receive immunotherapy, making the promotion of allergic rhinitis immunotherapy an urgent priority.

Professor Li Yong from Hangzhou First People's Hospital shared clinical experience in diagnosing and treating pediatric allergic rhinitis. He noted that while prevalence rates of allergic rhinitis vary across different regions in China, it is particularly noteworthy that the majority of new cases are children. This condition significantly impacts children's growth and development, with diverse clinical manifestations and complex causative factors making diagnosis particularly challenging.

Following the conference, Director Chen Guangqiang exchanged views with colleagues, stating that allergic rhinitis is a chronic disease particularly critical in pediatric patients, where regular follow-ups and chronic disease management are essential. Renshu Medical implements a "3-to-1" specialized service model, extending medical care from clinical settings into patients' daily lives through systematic follow-ups and comprehensive health monitoring - an approach that plays a vital role in allergic rhinitis treatment.

Director Chen is a mid-career ENT specialist with nearly 10 years of experience in tertiary hospitals, having previously taught otolaryngology at medical colleges. His clinical expertise includes diagnosis and minimally invasive surgical treatment of pediatric allergic rhinitis, sleep apnea, vocal cord disorders, and hearing impairment.

He stated that through this knowledge exchange, we will integrate these clinical insights and techniques into our daily practice, combining them with Renshu Medical's international treatment philosophy to help more allergic rhinitis patients understand and benefit from immunotherapy. This conference has also enhanced Renshu Medical's medical resource sharing and clinical experience exchange, strengthening our influence in the ENT field. It lays a solid foundation for our clinic's academic development and enables us to deliver higher quality, more compassionate medical services to patients.
